Welcome to Between Commits.

This is where I write about what I'm learning and what I'm getting wrong, in the code and in everything around it. Some of it will be technical. Plenty of it won't be.

What to expect

Notes written while things are still unresolved:

• what I'm learning, usually before I've fully understood it
• what I got wrong, and what it cost me to find out
• detours into languages and tools outside my day-to-day
• the parts that aren't about code at all: habits, doubts, and the occasional bad decision

Between the commits is where most of it actually happens.
